The new edition of the RCC Pilotage Foundation's
pilot for North Brittany - Cherbourg to Ouessant and the Channel Islands- has had a
complete facelift to bring it into line with our other pilots.
The text and plans have been revised so that the sailing directions now make full use of
recommended way points. New index charts have been introduced to improve cross referencing
and throughout there are new ground level and aerial photos.
The RCC PF's North Brittany has a long and distinguished pedigree which extends back to
Adlard Coles original Brittany Harbours and Anchorages first written over 40 years ago.
During that time it has always been regarded as the definitive pilot for yachts
negotiating the scattered rocks and difficult tides of the Brittany coast. This new
edition builds on previous ones and includes all the latest information to bring it
completely up to date and maintain its place as the best known companion for that coast.
