Supplement No 8 includes numerous changes since No 7
Supplement No 4 includes new information about Roscoff and L'Aber Wrach
There is a new Marina opening this year at Roscoff and we would be particularly grateful for any feedback about the new facilities.
This guide was written by David Mitchell following his explorations there in 2010 and is available as a pdf file linked to PPG P3
The Guide is also available as a Kindle file for use on the Amazon Kindle devices or the free Kindle reader software on PC, Mac, iPad and Android
We would be interested to hear users opinion of this format for our publications
As you may have noticed we have added a picture to the website header and made some other changes which we hope are improvements. We would welcome any comments or suggestions for other changes via the feedback page.

"Although there is a lot of political activity across North
Africa, nothing has been reported to indicate it is not a safe
place to travel, except in Libya. I have been visiting Tunisia
and Morocco throughout the year and found the only
difference to be a total lack of foreigners visiting."
Jimmy and Ivan Cornell have recently published a new atlas based on based on the most recent weather data gathered by meteorological satellites over the last 20 years. There is also a link to their site on the Links, Blogs and Logs page
This edition contains all the updates that have accumulated since 2004 as well as new material from visits between 2009 and 2011. Facilities for yachts have improved significantly during recent years and the increased extent of this edition has allowed the author to include full details of new yacht harbours and proposed developments. All the plans have been updated and there are many new photographs throughout the work.
Changes to information for Cala Fornells, Puerto de Soller, Puerto de Cala Figuera & Cabrera Island on Mallorca and Marina Mahon on Menorca
Changed regulations now make it possible to leave yachts in Norway for longer periods
Forum activated on the website. We hope that this will be useful for discussion and comments on the website and all aspects of the Pilotage Foundation activities and publications. It should supplement the existing system for providing feedback. Initially this has only one section but if there is sufficient interest it is possible to add subsections covering particular topics such as cruising areas. In order to post messages to the forum you need to register but this is a simple process and will not open your email to spam.
We have now put a series of discussion threads on the forum taken from recent requests for information to the RCCPF and Nick Coleman's responses. These should give an idea of the potential of the forum and I hope they will encourage its use.
Basic instructions for using the forum are now in a thread on the forum itself and as a separate article on the Forum menu
