With modern boats and comprehensive weather forecasts, more yachtsmen are now exploring the long coastline lying downwind of the Bay of Biscay despite it being subject to swell, storm and fog. The South Biscay Pilot was first published in 1971. This seventh edition builds on all that experience to present up to date pilotage information in a clear and structured manner.Updating photographs and comments are always welcome and may be published immediately on the Cruising Notes section of the RCC Pilotage Foundation website as well as being reviewed for the formal yearly Supplement.
